Sarah is a Postdoctoral Fellow at WHOI investigating the ecological roles microbial eukaryotes play in marine ecosystems. She is currently focused on characterizing the microbial eukaryotic communities found at deep sea hydrothermal vents to understand their place in marine food webs in the deep biosphere.
